Achala - Well the king waited for her to walk the aisle on this one!
A long rapid fire session that lasted with us onboard to cover their very special day. The fire works continued to our next meeting at the Army Clubhouse with her father, Brigadier Mr.Kumar.
That's the time we learnt we shall be alongside team @thebombaysappers for this one.
One thing led to another and the domino effect took us to her beautiful home in Pune, marked with green perimeters, lakes , birds nesting across ferns in the verandah and a stunning sunrise over the peaks at Gurnam Lake.
The recce as we call it, enables a clear vision for the film & photos.
As we are preparing for the big day and usually have relatively less powers to organise on the D-Day.
Sannidhya aka Dennis has it all going for him
A humble being and man in service to the nation as a Paratrooper, he was quite a model through our entire shoot.
After back to back attempts of reaching out to the man on the line we finally got through him. To our surprise, he learnt a bunch about his wedding on this team call. It was the first interaction with Mr.Groom and it was just as easy for him to step with grace on our second meet in Pune for the ice breaker /pre wedding photo session.
After a few Sunny deol steps, he was ready to break a leg or two as they practiced their sangeet dance alongside the walls of an army museum.

This group of men work hard and with force like none other.
Our experience from entry through the door on to each event venue until exit was aligned with precision like we have never seen before. There were no event planners or special beings taking care of the flow, it was one big family wedding that everyone was coming along for.
We were welcomed along by the family, with a ton of time and patience we walked through all the legacy and learnt it all. The historical significance, the commandants role and how the army keeps the nation safe everywhere.
It was a moment, a pause for the entire team. We are proud, humbled and grateful for this kind gesture of the entire team. Soon enough we got ready for the first event in their backyard where we had an opportunity to meet and greet a few more super humans, who keep themselves on the line and celebrate life as it comes.
The celebration was here to begin in the same lawn the very next day.
Mehendi , Sangeet & Haldi were scheduled in the backyard of their residence.
The funny thing is, the backyard could accommodate a 1000 guests!
With an early morning intimate Haldi ceremony and a sundowner against the landmark banyan tree in their garden. This wedding was never away from home, except...
...when we had to run to Gurnam lake for the fastest bridal walk ever!
Set under the mountains, this was a sight to behold.
As Brig Kumar & Sannidhya, alongside a king waited for Achala and what a sight it was.
