When home is happiness…

Prelude

An early call/connection with our bride & groom enables perfect expectation settings and more. Funnily enough (Thanks to Covid-19) we had that on 6/10/2020, 3 days prior to the event we took our notepad in our hands to write this one right.

A quick throwback to the recce day and we are welcomed by the family and limited size of the team that's working on the details within the four walls. A place where you have all the daily memories playing alongside and witnessing the big day as it was to be just another day.

Sanjog - Coincidence

Too many forces at work on this one A home wedding is more opportunities than we ever thought.

This one was special for all for reasons beyond worldly control

  • Our first post lockdown wedding, because Covid-19 in 2020

  • Both of them were born on 5/5/1989 and their Wedding date turned out as as 10/10/2020, too much Sanjog the pandit ji said!

While we had heard of how intimate and cosy a home wedding looks, this is the first we felt it all. With a few solid color mixes and beautiful light, we knew any space can look just as warm and cosy.

There is something about home that you hold on to, everytime you step out. For this one all of us stepped in our dancing shoes for a crazier Sangeet function at Saaksha’s place.

A quick welcome routine and a shower of one liners by the home grown/very famous stand up comedian Pavitra Shetty, kept all the eyes on stage.

All this clubbed with some add-on home cooked meals for guests and family added to all the charm for the day.

Well the day was long, but we were not done yet. A quick refill and all of us got back for the best date, 10/10/2020 sounds just the perfect one!

A series of interviews, solo portraits, couple portraits at either end, and a welcome routine later, our team of team 3 finally arrived at one destination

We missed mentioning this, we had the smallest team ever on this one. With some multitasking and great cooperation from our beautiful couple. We could extend all the efforts for bringing safety and peace of mind for the big day.

The routine was no more a routine in this one, asking why?

On a usual haldi ceremony we have a lot to manage, this had just close family, love and tons of laughter at either end.

Added to this was our Pandit ji, who was a cracker himself. With his clear tone on vachans (vows) and clearer explanation of them, he held the crowd like a stand up comedian.

Until the very end, every bit of the experience for the family and teams covering was home grown and straight from the heart.

A home wedding was never an idea/concept earlier, however watching their joy again and again on the film makes us believe that it is a great one.

One you can consider, when planning your big day.
